"Taylor is a literal angel and soooo talented. I love how willing she is to create shots that match YOU. Some photographers are all about fitting their own brand, but she is all about making your photos feel like YOU. She did such an amazing job with our engagement photos and made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera! I will always 100% recommend her for seniors, weddings, engagements, and family photos. She’s just the absolute best photographer and I think her portfolio reflects that!!! But her heart is made of gold so you’ll just have to hire her to see that!" - Liv

"Taylor is literally the BEST photographer i’ve ever encountered. she is so creative and outgoing that it feels like you’ve known her your entire life! my husband who is normally very uncomfortable during family pictures was laughing, being silly and doing funny poses because she made him feel comfortable and guided us the entire shoot — yet let us be ourselves! she truly brings so much to the table. if you want a photo shoot, hire a photographer BUT if you want an experience + everything else, hire taylor Jean!! - Meagan

"How soon do we get our photos back?"

Your photos will be delivered to an online gallery and in your inbox within 1-2 weeks if we are shooting solely digitally! If we shoot some rolls of film, those specific ones might take a bit longer due to processing + developing!

"Do we have access to all of the photos?"

All of the photos I send to you on your gallery are yours to download, share, print, and post!

"What does the payment process look like?"

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due at time of booking to hold your date! The rest is due 2 days before our session. If you have to reschedule, there is a $100 rescheduling fee. (Excluding weather related reasons)

"Do you help with locations, outfits, and styling?"

I sure do! With the hour long session + the full digital and film session, we will collaborate on locations, outfits, styling, and a mood-board to capture exactly what you are envisioning!

The 30 minute session was designed to be smaller session to get some updated photos, so I am happy to give opinions on outfits, but the location will be near my house! My family farms, so we have access to golden hour sunset fields, wooded rolling hills, creeks and ponds!

"What if I am super awkward in front of the camera?"

Don’t even worry about a thing! I've got you! This is my strongest suit and favorite part of shoots! I value natural prompts that guide you and help make you feel like your best and most confident self. During the whole shoot, I am guiding you with my words, giving feedback, and making you feel relaxed and at ease so you can get photos that look and feel like you... not some weird, stiff version of yourself!

"What is the difference between film and digital?"

Great question! When I say digital, I am referring to my really nice, NEW and expensive camera that I shoot most of my work with! Film, however, is using old vintage cameras to shoot 35mm or 120 film. I have a large array of film cameras that I like to use in different situations. The main difference in the photos is the look and feel of them. They have a realness about them-- imperfect, but in the moment. The colors and tones of film also cannot be emulated with digital; they are so dreamy and beautiful. As a digital photographer of 10 years, film has been a new and fun challenge to bring into my business...and it helps that the rewards are incredible! The film photos always seem to end up being my client's favorites!
